All additional drivers must meet all rental requirements. Additional drivers must appear at the rental counter with the primary renter. Additional drivers must sign the rental agreement. An additional daily fee may apply for any Additional Drivers. The additional driver can only be added to the contract at the pick up location.

After Hours must be pre-arranged in advance with the location. After hours pickup and drop off service is available for an additional cost of 30.00 USD per service.

Minimum age to rent a vehicle is 21 and maximum is 75 Driver must possess license for a minimum of 2 years to be eligible to rent a vehicle There is no fee for drivers aged 21-23. Drivers age 21-23 may be added as additional drivers only when the primary driver is 23 years of age or above.

Driving restricted within the country of Uruguay only.

Deductible Protection (DP) may be purchased as an additional protection along with the Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection (CDW-TP). DP is not insurance. The purchase of DP is optional and not required to rent a vehicle in Uruguay. DP will reduce the renter's Collision Damage Waiver and Theft Protection deductible to 0 USD. CDW-TP must be purchased to purchase DP.

All one way rentals must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. One way charges apply and are payable at time of rental. One way charges cannot be prepaid.

Collision Damage Waiver-Theft Protection does not cover interior damage, wrong fuel, undercarriage damage, mechanical damage, or damage from dangerous substances, tires, and windshield damage. Collision Damage Waiver-Theft Protection will be voided if the damage is caused by driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, unauthorized drivers, racing or speed contest or competition, unlicensed driver or driver training, driving over state or international borders in violation of the Rental Agreement, towing or pushing, intentional damage, simple negligence, gross negligence or recklessness, driving off a regularly maintained roadway, using the vehicle for hire, driving in violation of local traffic laws, failure to secure the car keys, or failure to lock or secure the vehicle.

Collision Damage Waiver - Theft Protection (CDW-TP) is not insurance. The purchase of CDW-TP is optional and is not required to rent a vehicle. If you purchase CDW-TP, the rental company agrees, subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement that invalidate CDW-TP, to contractually waive your responsibility for the cost of damage to, loss, fire, or theft of, the vehicle after the deductible of up to USD 3,000 depending on the car class. If CDW-TP is declined, the renter is responsible for the full value of damage to the vehicle.

Customers can choose from the following refueling options. Option 1- Prepay Fuel This option allows the renter to pay for the full tank of gas at the time of rental and return the tank empty. The price is based on an estimate of current fuel prices at a discounted rate and the average tank size for the car received. No refunds will be issued for unused fuel. Option 2- We Refill This option allows the renter to pay at the end of the rental for fuel used but not replaced. The price per gallon will be higher than local fuel prices, a surcharge will apply. Option 3- You Refill This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with the same level of fuel as received to avoid extra fuel charges.

All major debit and credit cards, issued by either American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Discover Card and Diners Club are accepted. All cards presented must be in the renter's name. Traveler checks and retail store cards are not accepted as methods of payment. Digital cards (Apple Pay/Google Pay etc.), prepaid cards, cash and debit cards can be used to settle any outstanding balances at the end of the rental. A security deposit plus the estimated cost of the rental will be taken at the time of rental. There is a deposit of 500 USD for the Economy, Compact, Intermediate, and Standard sedans. There is a deposit of 800 USD for Full-size sedans, all SUVS, and all Pick-up trucks.

Roadside Protection (RSP) - Roadside Protection and Assistance is included in the Time Mileage rate. The owner offers 24/7 roadside assistance at no additional charge to the customer. RSP) includes towing (not related to an accident), flat tire service (if no inflated spare is available, vehicle will be towed), and lockout service (if keys are locked inside the vehicle). jumpstarts, and fuel delivery service for up to 5 gallons (or equivalent liters) of fuel. Tire damaged beyond repair as a result of driver neglect is the responsibility of the renter. RSP does not include replacement of lost keys and the cost of a lost key would be $600.

Must meet the location's minimum age requirements. Present a valid driver's license from the customer's country of origin. Present a major credit card in renter's name at the time of rental. International drivers must provide a valid license from their country of residence. In addition to the drivers license, if the characters are not in English or Latin characters, an international drivers permit is recommended. If the drivers license is in characters other than Latin, an International permit is required or a Notarized English Translation is accepted.

Delivery Service at Airport. Our city location will offer airport pick up service if requested at a charge of $12 per rental and customer must request this atleast 48 hours in advance. 1) Upon exiting customs and exiting through the glass door, there will be an Alamo or National employee holding a sign with the Alamo/National logo and customers name. 2) The employee will process the rental agreement and customer must present credit card, drivers license and passport or photo ID to complete transaction. 3) Customer must remain at the airport building exit and the employee will retrieve the vehicle and keys and deliver to the customer. From the Sea Port to the City Rental Location. 1) Upon exiting the Port gates, customers will pass the customs building on their right hand side. 2) Customers will pass Park Plazuela Dr. Manuel Herrera y Obes and an old Barracks on the right. There will be a bus parking lot on the right side of the road. 3) Arriving to the Esso Gas Station, the taxi will exit the Rambla and head straight through the Rio Branco Bus Station until they get to the Plaza Isabel de Castilla and turn left. 4) The rental location will be located on Av. General Rondeau Street on the left hand side. From the Central Bus Station to the City Rental Location. 1) The customer must head to the exit in the ground level and wait for a taxi. This is the recommended method of transportation to the rental office. 2) When arriving to Av. Brigadier General Juan Antonio Lavalleja Street, taxi will turn right and take Av. General Rondeau Street. Customer will pass the Plaza Isabel de Castilla. 3) The rental location will be located on the left side of Av. General Rondeau Street. ****DELIVERY SERVICE**** Customer must prearrange delivery service with 48 hour advanced notice through their reservation or by calling the location. An employee will deliver vehicle to the requested location. Customer must be present to complete transaction, otherwise they should contact the location directly. Employee will complete rental contract, then deliver keys and vehicle to customer and direct the customer to the location where the vehicle is parked. Delivery service is available after hours at airport and only during general hours if not arriving to the airport.

Third Party Liability (TPL) is included in the time and mileage rate. Subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement that invalidate TPL, this protection provides coverage for damages and injuries to third parties, up to the policy limits, and provides you with at least the minimum financial responsibility limits as outlined in the applicable motor vehicle financial responsibility laws. A deductible of up to $8,000 USD applies, depending on car class.

Tire Windshield Protection (TWP) covers the rental vehicle in case of tire and window damage due to road conditions.
